At Hood & Strong LLP you won’t get lost in the shuffle. Partners and managers are always nearby and available to assist and counsel you. You will be able to discuss your career goals, get your questions answered, and be mentored. Twice a year formal evaluations take place, while informal counseling is provided throughout the year.
We provide our staff with a broad base of exposure to different industries and sizes of clients. Our clients include some of the largest privately held businesses in the Bay Area and leading nonprofit organizations. For the benefit of our staff, we have chosen not to have our staff specialize in any particular industry early in their careers. After they have been exposed to our different clients and a particular interests and expertise develops, each staff will become a vital part of selected service teams.
Hood & Strong LLP provides employees opportunities to get to know each other outside the office and to give something back to the community. More than 90% of our employees are involved in some type of volunteer activity. The firm sponsors several group volunteer projects each year which are chosen by staff members. Philanthropic activities have included charity runs and walks, environmental clean-ups, food and toy drives, and helping the elderly. A few firm sponsored events include an annual holiday season party, an after-busy-season party, and several “happy hour” events throughout the year.
