Each holiday season, the Employee Volunteer Committee coordinates a holiday drive allowing the employees of Hood & Strong LLP an opportunity to donate to others within the community. The committee selects an organization within the community and the drive is tailored to the needs of the organization. This past holiday season, the selected organization was Loaves and Fishes in San Jose, in which employees from both offices donated toys, food, and cash needed by the organization to distribute as part of their holiday giving program. Loaves and Fishes had parents of underprivileged families "shop" for gifts for their children and then the gifts were wrapped which the parents gave to their children on Christmas day. The donated food was used to prepare grocery bags for the families.
