Hood & Strong LLP provides funding each year to the Robert A. Mellin Endowment at USF. Robert Mellin was a former Managing Partner at Hood & Strong LLP. A scholarship is given to the top accounting student at the business school each year.
“It's very important to me to be here," said Jim Mellin '75, whose father's accounting firm, Hood and Strong LLP, endowed a scholarship at the business school in the name of Mellin's father, Robert Mellin. "USF sets the standard for proper business practices, which are what my father practiced daily."
