Hood & Strong LLP, an annual sponsor of the TiE organization, is exhibiting and taking part in this year's TiEcon 2010. In addition to having several of our partners and managers at the event talking to attendees at our exhibit booth and attending programs, the firm is also hosting a Business Bootcamp-Secrets of company Valuation, Legal Formation & Capitalization Structure of Startups. This session will discuss equity distribution, basic legal issues that govern formation, option plans, Open Source software and other ways of protecting an organization’s IP. In addition, the firm has sent out to all registered attendees an entry form for a chance to win a prize drawing of an Apple iPad with the winner being announced shortly after the conference.
This is the second year in a row that Hood & Strong has participated as an exhibitor and sponsor of this major conference that attracts over 2,500 attendees over the two day period.
