Mark Hancock joined Hood & Strong in November 2011 following more than a decade of expertise as a tax advisor to exempt organizations. Previously, he was Northwest Market Leader and Senior Manager of Ernst & Young LLP’s Exempt Organization Tax Services practice group, covering a territory stretching from Northern California to Alaska. At E&Y, he provided tax advisory, planning, and consulting services to a wide range of exempt organizations across the U.S. and internationally. Previously, he practiced law as a tax attorney at Jones Day in Washington, D.C. Mark holds a J.D. cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law and an LL.M. with Distinction from Georgetown University Law Center.
