Hood & Strong LLP, a leading Bay Area accounting and business consulting firm, today announced that Jorge Servin and Jonathan Willyerd have been named partners in the firm.
Servin joined Hood & Strong in 2007 and has served as a director of assurance and business advisory services. In his role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of financial audit engagements for the Firm’s clients in the not-for-profit industry. Servin has overseen audits for some of the Bay Area’s largest not-for-profits, including international and national organizations, and private and community foundations. Prior to joining Hood & Strong, he was an audit senior for a local CPA firm in the North Bay. He holds a BA in business from Sonoma State University.
Willyerd has worked at Hood & Strong since 2001, serving as an assurance and advisory director. He has extensive single-audit compliance and not-for-profit experience. In his role, he’s overseen audit engagements of varying sizes for more than a decade on behalf of clients in various industries including health and welfare, social services, museums and construction. Willyerd serves on the administrative committee of Adobe Services, and as an audit committee member for the YMCA of the Central Bay. He has a BS in accounting from California State University, East Bay.
In 2017, Hood & Strong will celebrate its 100th anniversary. As the Firm recognizes this important milestone, the leadership team is addressing evolving client needs and preparing for the next century.
