Natalie joined Hood & Strong’s Client Accounting Services Group in 2026, bringing more than 18 years of public accounting, internal audit, and financial advisory experience to the firm’s nonprofit team. Her expertise spans fiduciary and trust accounting, forensic analysis, audit and assurance, and outsourced controller and fractional CFO services. Most recently, she built and led a specialized fiduciary accounting team while overseeing month-end close, accounts payable, and treasury operations for nonprofit and private clients.

Natalie understands the financial realities of mission-driven organizations firsthand. She has served as outsourced controller for a fiscal sponsor managing multiple projects under a single 501(c)(3), developed fiscal sponsorship policies, coordinated Form 990 preparation, and delivered financial reports that enable boards, executive directors, and finance teams to make confident, strategic decisions.

In her CAS role, Natalie helps nonprofits strengthen internal controls, prepare for audits, streamline accounting systems, and produce reliable financial reporting. 

Natalie holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is both a California Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
